Our Story

La familia Santacruz emigró a los Estados Unidos a fines de los 80 desde Michoacán, México, con el sueño de formar una familia en los Estados Unidos. Luego, en 1996, la familia Santacruz comenzó a hacer tortillas en una plaza en Valley Parkway con el objetivo de hacer las mejores tortillas que saben a casa. Desde entonces nos mudamos a nuestra ubicación actual en 485 North Rose Street y compartimos el edificio con un salón de peluquería canina hasta hace unos 10 años. Desde entonces, hemos evolucionado y probado cosas nuevas, pero una cosa es cierta, toda nuestra comida se hace con amor y cuidado de generación en generación. Hoy en día, los propietarios originales aún trabajan y supervisan la tienda y el proceso de fabricación de tortillas, así como con la ayuda de sus hijos y nietos, todavía apasionados por traer los mejores productos mexicanos que nos recuerdan de el nuestra tierra natal y momentos familiares.

The Santacruz family migrated to the United States in the late 80s from Michoacan, Mexico with a dream to start a family in the United States. Then in 1996, the Santacruz family began making tortillas in a plaza on Valley Parkway with a goal of making the best tortillas that taste like home. From then we moved to our current location on 485 North Rose and shared the building with a dog grooming salon until about 10 years ago. From then on, we have evolved and tried new things, but one thing is certain, all of our food is made with love and care from generation to generation. Today, the original owners still work and oversee the store and the tortilla making process as well as with the help of their children and grandchildren, still passionate about bringing the best Mexican products that remind us of home and family.
