Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We want to take a moment to reach out to the community we love and keep you informed of some changes here at Etna Country Store. Effective immediately, we will no longer be open on Saturdays.
We know this may be an inconvenience for some of you, and we want to be transparent about why. While staffing has played a role in this decision, it is not the only reason — and we feel you deserve the full picture. Simply put, Saturday traffic and sales have not been sufficient to sustain the cost of operating that day. As much as we want to be here for you every day of the week, keeping our doors open on Saturdays has not been financially viable, and continuing to do so would put unnecessary strain on the long-term health of the store.
We are actively exploring options for adjusting our weekday hours to better serve you, and we will share any updates as soon as we have them. For now, our hours are:
Tuesday – Friday
8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
We also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge something bigger. Small businesses across the country are navigating an incredibly difficult and unprecedented time. Economic pressures, shifting consumer habits, and the uncertainties affecting so many families and businesses right now are real — and we feel them too. These are not easy days for independently owned stores like ours.
It has been nearly four years since we opened our doors, and through all of the changes and challenges along the way, your patience, loyalty, and kindness have meant everything to us. We don’t take that for granted for a single moment.
Thank you for being part of our story. We are committed to being here for this community for years to come, and we appreciate your continued grace and understanding as we navigate this season together.
