We are so excited to welcome Sarah Stone as California Sea Grant’s first North Coast Seafood Extension Fellow!

Sarah will work with NCGA, California Sea Grant and other community partners to strengthen market access and coordinate events like the Humboldt Dockside Market. She is also helping expand critical harbor infrastructure initiatives, further education around local seafood, support training programs for commercial fishers, and develop marketing tools to boost regional economic resilience.

California Sea Grant is a federally funded organization supporting applied ocean and coastal science in California. Their mission is to provide the information, tools, training and relationships needed to help California conserve and sustainably prosper from its coastal and marine environment.
