Gooood Morninnnn ☀️

I come bearing both good news and bad news...

The bad news: Harvest & Home is officially taking a baking break for the next couple of weeks while we soak up some time with family that's in town. ❤️
The good news: my kitchen gets a vacation, my mixer gets a vacation, and my dishwasher might finally forgive me.

Thank y'all for keeping me so busy these past few months. Every loaf, cookie, scone, and order means more than you know.

We'll be back before you know it, covered in flour and making questionable decisions about how many things can fit in one oven at a time. 😂

Until then, enjoy your summer, support your local small businesses, and don't forget about me while I'm off pretending to be a normal person who doesn't think about sourdough 24/7.

And honestly… in the NICK of time because heavy rain around here has a real talent for taking down our half-dead hurricane trees directly onto the power lines 😂 So I am VERY glad I got everything finished before the weather got too aggressive lol.

Now first and foremost… yes. It’s raining 😂
And apparently the forecast thinks we’re entering a 7-day monsoon season. I simply do not believe that level of negativity lol.

BUT — we are fully prepared for tomorrow’s pickup! We’ve got the canopy ready if needed and we’ll make it work rain or shine ☔️

And if it’s REALLY awful out, I’ll make sure everyone has my cell number and I will personally bring your orders out to you because we’ve got this 🤝

Also… y’all absolutely SHOWED UP and SHOWED OUT per usual. The first 20 minutes of a preorder drop are always pure chaos 😂

We’re dropping a PRE-ORDER for next Saturday (5/9 pick-up) and it’s gonna be GOOD good.
