We are halfway through the outdoor farmers market season, and the Evansdale IA Farmers Markets is shining bright🤩, with a fantastic variety of locally grown and produced foods and treasures! Celebrate summer with us, Wednesday 8/5 from 3-6 pm, with a rainbow🌈 of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs, honey and jellies, eggs, herbal tea blends and smoking herb blends, hot and ready foods, many delicious baked goods, artisan jewelry and crafts, fresh cut flowers, and so much more!

🌞 Sonny's Place food truck will be set up from 11 am-6 pm in the market space, serving up the best burgers🍔 in the Cedar Valley, as well as her new items this summer:pulled pork and grilled chicken sandwiches, and homemade pea salad, potato salad! Katherine Smith Huffman will have hot and ready sloppy joes and hot dogs🌭, chips, and cold drinks from 3-6 pm!

😍There will be bicolor and solid yellow sweet corn🌽, seeded and seedless red watermelon🍉, cantaloupe, purple/green/white bell peppers🫑, a variety of hot🌶️ peppers from mild to super hot, all kinds of pickling and canning supplies including garlic🧄/dill/onions🧅/ cucumbers🥒/beets🫜/tomatoes🍅/peppers🌶️🫑, farmers market exclusives/hard to find foods including duck eggs/kohlrabi/burp less cucumbers/okra/long cayenne and super chiles/mild heat Hungarian peppers/ heirloom tomatoes in different colors and sizes/low acid tomatoes, purple and yellow beans, Orange Fanta jelly, Dr. Pepper jelly, and so much more!

We've been a little quiet the last few weeks (thank you Iowa July heat!) 🥵

We'll be on Lafayette in Evansdale at the Evansdale IA Farmers Markets site from 11am - 6pm!

We all love the burgers, but have you tried the grilled chicken or pulled pork?! Highly recommend giving them a go! 🤤

Woohoo, we have a fantastic group of vendors at the Evansdale IA Farmers Markets Saturday from 9 am-12 pm! There will be a rainbow🌈 of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, including bicolor sweet corn🌽, GIANT red tomatoes🍅, ground cherries, purple and white bell 🫑peppers, yellow baby doll watermelons🍉, Jalapenos🌶️ for making poppers/cowboy candy/pickled jalapenos, poblanos🌶️ for Chile Rellenos, collard greens, cucumbers🥒, green beans, and more! Duck and chicken eggs will both make an appearance, but ya gotta get there quick as they sell out fast!
