Making Thanksgiving pies today. I've got Gluten-Free pie crust chilling on the fridge and working on the regular pie crust. Soon the wonderful aroma of Apple Pie and Berry Pie will fill my house. Don't you wish there was a Scratch n' Sniff app for Facebook?!? :)Keep Smiling ;)

Hi there Friends!! I have some delicious news for all of you who love the Gluten-Free products. I filled an order today and I have EXTRA!!!. I've got 10 Lemon Poppyseed and 6 Cinnamon Swirl. (Well 5 standard size and 4 mini's.) So if you want them, they are $1 a piece and they will be here at the Happy Baker Home. So The Happy Baker is growing in popularity to the point that we are double booked this next weekend. We will be up bright and early at the Natronia County Extention Office to greet all the patrons of the Farmer's Market and then it's just a short walk through the gates of the fairgrounds to take a step back in time for the Renaissance Fesitval. So if you are wanting to satisfy that sweet tooth with some cookies or have fresh baked bread for the kiddo's school lunch, come on by and visit The Happy Baker!

So I am finally recovered enough from The Happy Baker's first Farmers Market of 2012 that I can post on Facebook that it was a great start to a great year. Really looking foirward to the next 8 weekends and the fun to be had by all!!! :) Now on to more baking...:)

Making these yummy Cowboy Cookies today. I had one of the kids ask me if they were shaped like cowboys. I had to tell them that these are the cookies that the cowboys take with them in their saddlebags to eat on the trail. They fill you up cause they have lots of coconut, oatmeal, pecans and chocolate chips. That was a good explainitation for them. Where would you take your Cowboy Cookies? :)
