I made sure to triple the batch of apple pie cinnamon rolls and brought back a few special requests, like the giant chocolate chip muffins and sourdough waffles.

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it looks to be a beautiful long weekend ahead of us.

I got to play around in the kitchen and try out some new recipes, and can’t wait for everyone to taste them. Summertime inspired me to use fruit so I came up with a peach cake, apple cinnamon rolls and mixed berry Whoopie pies.

On the savory side I made some Birria “bombs” and brought back the sourdough English muffins.
