GARDENING TIP!

We finally got rain! I have about 30 trays that look like this 😬😬😬

What I’m doing is I’m SAVING this water! I have empty gallon jugs, coolers and buckets that I’m dumping the water in to water the garden with later 💃🏼

All of my plants are grown organically and that includes organic fertilizer. So, the water in these trays basically is an organic fertilizing tea!!

Use what you have and spend LESS money! Gardening doesn’t have to be hard or costly 😉

One of the most satisfying things in the garden for me is after we get a heavy rain, you can pull these thistles out with a simple twist and pull! Get as much as the taproot as possible so having a hand shovel close by is a good idea 😏
The taproot is how this plant reproduces!

The thistle population in this area has significantly decreased since last year thanks to this simple and effective method. No harmful chemicals needed, just a good drench from rain or a hose and very little elbow grease 😉
