Pork Power is a program initiated by the IPPA to provide access to pork to our neighbors throughout Illinois. Through Pork Power, families have been educated on how to prepare and incorporate pork into their favorite dishes. They will also receive information on the important nutritional, mental and physical benefits of including protein in the diet.
Farmers and partnering commodity groups have worked together to donate to the program year-round to help feed those in need. Yesterday, IPPA donated over 5,000lbs to the Midwest Food Bank. Thank you to IL Corn, Illinois Soybean Association, and Steidinger Foods for making this donation possible!
