School of Rock Fairfax - At the Fairfax Saturday Market on May 30 and June 6

"Opening in late summer 2026, School of Rock Fairfax offers performance-based music education and camps. Our students develop a mastery of music theory by learning songs that inspire them and gaining the experience of playing with others. We offer programs for children as young as three years old, as well as a vibrant adult program. Our students will perform on local stages throughout Northern Virginia.

Please visit our booth to explore our instrument sampling area and spin our prize wheel! Note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while visiting our booth."

Starview Farms at the Fairfax Market May 30

"This week has been a really good week! Over the past four days we have received almost 5 inches of needed rain! The rain has been the kind that soaks in and doesn't run off immediately. It's the type that we really, really needed! Hopefully it will help break the drought we have been in for a while! With that said, Starview Farms will continue the sale on Beef Short Ribs for $7.99/ pound for one more week. That's $1.00 pound off our regular price. We just processed more beef and will have all cuts available this week too!

If you get a chance, stop by the market and meet Travis and Beth Melton who will be helping us this season. They have a small farm near us, raise sheep and chickens, and have a desire to become involved in Farm to Table agriculture production. They are excited to get started! We will have Travis and Beth's lamb available this week in addition to Baker Pork, Honey, Eggs and our Starview Beef! We hope to see you on Saturday! Check out our website at www.starviewfarmsva.com. Grandma's Bakery - New Vendor Starting May 30 (May 23 Start Date is canceled)

"Grandma’s Bakery is a home-based bakery specializing in fresh homemade Eastern European/traditional sweet buns (bulochki) and pastries. We offer soft classic buns, raisin buns, chocolate-filled buns, sugar buns and buns with fruit jams such as apricot, strawberry and raspberry. Also we have some European/Mediterranean style cookies.
