These two cuties are just a couple from my first hatch from Hahn Sweet Homestead. I started with 11 eggs(lost one in shipping) 7 made it to lockdown and all 7 hatched. That’s a 64% hatch rate(I think, I’m no mathematician). 50% hatch rate on shipped eggs is considered good. So above average! I am thrilled and still have another batch in an incubator!!

Last and CERTAINLY not least are these beauties from Thistle Wild. She’s someone I have recently found and I am obsessed! Her Marans are incredible. And the blooms?? To die for! If you’re not following her yet, you’re missing out!

Thought I was done with hatching eggs?? Think again! Just got these in from Cluckin Cheetah Girlss and I am OBSESSED!! She’s known for her green speckles and pinks but I specifically asked for more browns and I couldn’t be happier!

All arrived intact in TWO days!
