Locals Market will be bringing "Flavor From Your Neighbor " to downtown Fairhope this Fall. With the success of our new Locals In The Alley serving lunch and dinner daily, we have freed up our original Locals location at 312 Fairhope Avenue to create a new concept in truly shopping local! We will be selling local meats, cheeses and produce along with a store front filled with products cooked, prepared and packaged right in our fully stocked kitchen by our community cooks. In order to bring you the best of the best, we will be holding a three-day tasting on-site at Locals Market to find the very best products such as Hot sauces, Salsas, Pickled products, BBQ sauces, Mustards, Jams, pies, bread... the list is really up to you! Now is your chance to show off and sell that special handed down recipe that you have loved for years and make a little cash as well!
We will be screening all homeade recipes that can be either jarred, shrink wrapped or packages with shelf life or refrigeration on August 18 and 19 between 10am and 2pm. If you are chosen to be a part of Locals Market, we will provide the kitchen, custom label design, packaging and shelf space for your product. Details on sales percentage will be discussed at time of acceptance.
