Raising up the soil and lowering the cart/walking paths should help with flood control. The beds are raised up. Trellises for peas, tomato and climbers. The beds are for salad greens, mustard, radishes..

There are some rows being prepared for okra. Once I get some help tilling, we should have plenty of potatoes planted. My rock rake, a very handy tool, finally bit the dust, and I have yet to find one that isn't made in you know where...

What would you like to see planted?

Getting ready for peas and potatoes. The apple trees are blossoming. Wheat and turnips have been sown. Hope to plant peanuts in the fields as part of a crop rotation. Next year, hopefully, we may have a large corn field where the wheat and turnip and peanuts should be planted. Lots of red heirloom okra and peas and purple potatoes are definitely on the menu!

We've been in talks with Mark Ford of Feeding America, The Tulsa Area Foodbank, and we are being connected to the Farm to Table program.

We have plans to expand and provide high-quality produce to People in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

We pledge to avoid harmful pesticides, herbicides and fungicides in our garden, orchard and land.

We will strive to use only natural fertilizers such as mushroom compost, worm castings, fish emulsion, and other natural elements.

Our hope is to feed people, improve people's diets and health, create jobs, expand infrastructure, and coordinate a logistics plan from the seed to your table, and with your support and cooperation we can achieve our goals!

We need some infrastructure installed first and some People power.

1) A main water line to the garden and orchard.

2) Low cost w**d control (cardboard and mulch).

3) Two seasonal dedicated farm hands for labor.

4) Drip-line and soaker hoses system installed.

5) Rain water catchment / Containment system.

6) A new flock of egg and fertilizer producing poultry with updates to the coop.

7) Distribution networks and cooperation with Tribal, State, County, and City partners.

8)Volunteers and a Board of Directors

We hope this will be a charitable organization, funded by grants and donors for the betterment of our People in and around Ottawa County, Oklahoma. Together we can make it happen.
We can produce and deliver traditional, high quality organic heirloom fruits and vegetables to People.

Thank God for all and Thank you all for everything.

We had an unexpected visitor this morning... After feeding the chickens, I looked up and saw a massive black bull looking at me, from across the yard. He was standing in the shade of a pecan tree.
