We’re so thankful for another sweet season and for everyone who supported J&C Bees! We’ll be back next year with all of your favorite goodies, plus we’ve got some new things in the works that we can’t wait to share with you! 👀

🍯🚨 We're in a sticky situation here at the Penuel house! 🐝

Today was our last honey extraction of the season, and let's just say Mother Nature had other plans this year. Between all the rain and the crazy weather, our bees didn't get nearly as many good foraging days as they usually do.
Last year, we had enough honey to keep everyone's pantries stocked until October. This year? At this rate, we might be putting up a "Sorry, we're sold out!" sign a whole lot sooner. 😅

So if you've been thinking about grabbing some honey, don't wait too long! Once it's gone, it's gone!

Riddle me this!?!? We have had a few bucket full of honey for roughly a month sitting on the counter. We've used this honey to make our hot honeys and trying other recipes. The white bucket was sitting against the wall and hasn't been touched. I woke up this morning and there is honey EVERYWHERE!! There was no signs of the bucket leaking this whole time. So whats your best guess on what happened?

Feels like 103° and 100% humidity, and a full bee suit… 10/10 would not recommend. 🥵🐝But we had another successful cutou...

🍯 The U.S. imports a lot of honey each year, so much more than what beekeepers actually produce.
Most store honey will say things like “pure” or “raw,” but the country of origin is usually on the back label… easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.
If you’ve only ever had grocery store honey, try tasting it next to ours.
You'll never want that big box store honey again!🐝🍯
