Jason Mardell and his family run the popular Deli and Co-op in this beautifully renovated 1921 serv

ice station. The Mardells moved back to Jason’s hometown of Fairview just a few years ago and he soon began talks with the owners of The Corner Station gift shop to re-open. Nearly everyone in Jason’s family had a hand in the renovations, quickly making the Deli one of Sanpete’s favorite local spots to eat. Folks love the fresh veggies and wide variety of healthy, nitrite-free deli meats sliced only when you order your sandwich. Jason prepares salads from scratch using favorite family recipes. Hot, fresh soups are made daily and are a favorite in cold winter months.

For nearly 10 years, we've been building Mardell Kitchen right here in Sanpete County, thanks to the unwavering support and encouragement you have shown our family.

In 2017, we started with the Corner Station Deli in Fairview and have since grown to 5 locations in the Sanpete Valley.

Our family thinks we're crazy, and we're often asked how we do what we do. While these restaurants keep us on our toes, the credit goes to over 100 local team members whom we employ to help us serve fresh, delicious food for our community every day.

It’s a nice cool day to come to the Fairview Farmers Market! Come down from 9-1 today. We have Kim Kelly from Milburn bringing some delicious produce. Sherri all the way from Eagle Mountain is bringing her gorgeous Dahlias and Flowers to brighten your home or get some for a friend or loved one 💐

If you came to the deli this weekend and we were out of things, it was for good reason! We spent the weekend feeding firefighters stationed in Spring City for the Black Canyon Fire. Our staff was up very early and stayed late to make it happen. Over three days, we made around 400 breakfast burritos/sandwiches and about 300 lunch boxes + dinner. When people ask how we do what we do, it is 100% because of the amazing team we have. They were all a little sleep-deprived, but grateful we could feed our first responders, alongside the catering we also did this weekend.

Kind of cool to be included in a Utah Business article about how renovating and restoring older buildings for your small business vs building new is more financially feasible these days. It's crazy to think that next July we will be open for 10 years! Thank you to everyone for your support in putting us on the map. We've noticed the deli getting a lot more attention this year from tourists and locals wanting to check out this old auto-station turned sandwich shop. Link to the article in comments.
