Who doesn’t love a sunny June Saturday in downtown Farmington? There’s lots to see, good things to eat and experiences for the whole family. Make sure to bring the kids to market today for Pollinator Day and enjoy the rock’n’roll sounds for Full Tilt Boogie Blues! A beautiful weekend on tap, so live your best life right! For me, its getting up and going to Saturday market. What I do. 5:30 am trucks start rolling in, sun coming up, the coffee is good and hot, the morning banter will be spirited for the festive scene to make ready for. So here’s what to find when the bell rings…

Coming to market on Saturday, June 13th why it’s “All about Pollinators!” And a great opportunity for kids to learn “Where food comes from!” Brought to you by Bloom Pediatrics and the Farmington Foundation for Youth & Families. Kids 4-12 will receive a free $3 voucher to “Shop the market” for fresh veggies and local honey!

It’s a fun-filled day here in downtown Farmington as Art On The Grand and the farmers market are both going on. Join us at the market till 2pm and then stick around to explore AOG (open till 7pm today and 11am-5pm on Sunday) and experience this big ole’ slice of Saturday Life In A Michigan Small Town. Your market this week….let’s get up to speed! It’s Art on the Grand weekend! Juried artists, Fine art, farmers and flowers to be found….

Strawberries sold out in an hour last week. This week we are bringing it!!

Market Place St we are sharing with the Art fair… find food trucks, kids crafts and activities. Keeps em busy !

Get a smoothie and stroll it out …around the market and up n down Grand River Ave.

You also can… join the Farmington walkabouts over at the alley way next to Fresh Thyme at 10 am. Special guest, the town’s own Doc, Joe Lawson Williams D.O. Get your small town smiles in.

It’s the last Saturday in May and it’s safe to say that you can start planting those vegetables starters that you purchased at today’s market! The first Michigan strawberries have arrived to Farmington, so get here early if you want them, as they’ll sell out quickly! Mike Freeman plays the tunes in Riley Park, there’s good eaten to be had with pierogi, donuts, grilled cheese, etc., along with an array of artisanal foods, hand crafted items and flowers to explore! Come to the Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market today and enjoy this blue skies slice of Saturday Life In A Michigan Small Town. We’re open till 2pm and we’ll see you at the market!

So Saturday market brings 56 vendors,
live music with Mike Freeman, Little Sprouts kids corner covered by the Farmington Mom’s Club. And let’s welcome RB Miller Farms back to market and bringing the first farm picked strawberries of the season! If ya didnt know they haul in from Coloma, Mi.,and Berrien County, a nationally recognized fruit belt. Yep.

People’s Pierogi is cookin, Brickhouse Kitchen is cookin, Olive Thyme is cookin.

Don’t let this rainy morning fool you, according to the forecasts we’ve seen, it’s clearing up as we speak for a great Memorial Day weekend at the market. 50 vendors total have stuck it out to make sure when you stop on by, you’ll have plenty of things to find as you explore! Vegetable/herb starters and beautiful flowers for the garden, along with lots of tasty treats to enjoy here or at home await you. Come experience this spring holiday slice of Saturday Life!
