Hey y’all!! We are gearing up for opening day at the Goshen Farmers Market on Thursday at 4:30-7:00pm. We are going to have some cucumbers, green beans, yellow squash, and some sugar snap peas. Baskets of veggies are limited at this time as we are still early in the season. We will of course have our USDA beef and USDA pork farm fresh eggs, and freeze dried goodies as well as our jams, jellies and sala’s. We can’t wait to see ya!!

Goshen Valley Farms will be at the Farmington Farmers Market tomorrow morning. The market starts at 8am and goes until 1pm. I picked some young yellow squash this afternoon, it’s enough for a couple of baskets, a basket of cucumbers and a basket of green beans. I’m sure they will go fast so come out early!! Mike has put so much work into the plants and they look amazing!
We will have our freezers in our trailer with our USDA Beef and USDA pork we will have our jams, jellies, relishes, and our freeze dried goodies, and we will have some vegetable plants available as well so come out and see us. We can’t wait to see you!!

Goshen Valley Farms will have a plethora of plants available for sale at the Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery Saturday morning!! We will have a few different varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, maybe some yellow squash and possibly some zucchini. We can’t wait to see ya!!

So what has Goshen Valley Farms been up this January? I’m so glad you asked 😉
We have taken a hog and a steer to the processor (ready to be picked up soon), rearranged real estate in the freezers for said pick up and processing tallow. Processing tallow is messy endeavor, but oh so worth it. We ended up with 36 quarts and a pint. Although, 16 quarts are already sold. If you’ve been on the fence about cooking with natural fats to get away from seed oils, now’s your chance! Contact me soon before they’re all sold out!!

Ok, so I have to share something y’all. I have become THAT person. No, I will not bombard you with pics or tales about them. BUT if you ASK me about my ducks, there’s no hiding how much I love having them. I have 2 hens and 1 drake. They are Swedish ducks (they cannot fly and they are ADORABLE) They’ve started giving me 2 eggs per day (most days) so I do have duck eggs available and they are giant!! Just to watch them makes me happy 😊
Oh!! We also have another new lamb added to the flock.

‘Tis the season to be Merry and Bright!! Goshen Valley Farms will be participating in the Farmington holiday market Saturday, December 6th from 4 PM to 8 PM. Since you’re coming down to see the parade anyway, you should stop by our booth and see us. We will have our freezers on site with our USDA beef and USDA pork, we will have our Yukon gold potatoes and possibly some end of season tomatoes as well. And then, of course, we will have our freeze dried goodies which make excellent stocking stuffers. We will have our jams and  jellies, as well as our salsa Verde. We look forward to seeing ya’ll there!!
