Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in opportunities related to livestock judging, specifically within the cattle industry. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in cattle production, evaluation, and show livestock development, I have built a strong foundation rooted in both practical ranch work and competitive livestock environments.

I currently operate alongside my father at Bogie Greene Acres, where I have been actively involved in day-to-day herd management, selection, breeding decisions, and show cattle preparation. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to work with and learn from respected programs and professionals in the industry, including Phil Lautner and Kirk Forsyth. These experiences have strengthened my eye for structural correctness, balance, muscle pattern, and overall livestock quality.

In addition, I have completed two years of Animal Science coursework at Morehead State University, which has further reinforced my understanding of livestock biology, nutrition, and performance evaluation. I also hold an American Degree through Felicity Franklin FFA, which reflects my long-term commitment to leadership and excellence within agricultural education.

My experience has allowed me to work with multiple show cattle operations beyond my own farm, giving me exposure to a wide range of breeding programs and judging standards. These opportunities have helped me develop consistency, attention to detail, and a strong respect for the livestock industry at every level.

Beyond technical experience, my goal in pursuing livestock judging is to help educate and inspire younger generations entering this industry. I believe strongly that livestock showing and judging builds discipline, responsibility, and work ethic that carry far beyond agriculture. It is a foundation that prepares young people for success in life, and I take pride in being part of an industry that shapes that future.
