Hempler Foods Group Wonderful collection of smoked meats using the Hempler family tradition of slowly curing, cooking and smoking meat naturally over hardwoods

Whether it’s pork, beef, chicken or turkey, all our products rely on quality meat from quality farms. Our meats are supplied locally, as much as possible, from sustainable sources. Our secret family recipes stretch back to the Hempler sausage kitchen in Borken, Germany. Although we’re pretty tight-lipped about our exact ingredients, it’s no secret that we don’t use MSG and our products are completely allergen and gluten-free.

A little crispy. A little buttery. A lot of bacon.

This breakfast casserole pulls everything together in one dish. Hempler’s Center Cut Bacon, eggs, cheese, and croissants baked until golden and ready to serve.

Minimal effort. Maximum breakfast. 🥓

Bacon Croissant Breakfast Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

6–8 croissants, torn into large pieces (slightly stale works best)
8 slices Hempler’s Center Cut Bacon, cooked and chopped
8 large eggs
2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
1 ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Optional: 2–3 green onions, sliced

DIRECTIONS:

Cook the Hempler’s Center Cut Bacon until crispy. Let cool slightly, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add the torn croissants evenly across the bottom. Sprinkle the chopped bacon and cheese over the top.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture, pressing down gently so everything soaks it up.

Let the casserole sit for 15–20 minutes (or cover and refrigerate overnight for an easy make-ahead option).

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.

Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. Top with sliced green onions if using.

It’s National Pigs in a Blanket Day! A little nostalgic, a lot delicious. Hempler’s Easy Pigs-in-a-Blanket are the only move.

INGREDIENTS:

1 package Hempler’s Cocktail Sausages
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

Optional: melted butter, sesame seeds, or poppy seeds for topping

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle into 2 or 3 smaller strips, depending on the size of your cocktail sausages.

Place a cocktail sausage at the wide end of each dough strip, then roll it up toward the pointed end, wrapping the dough around the sausage.

For a golden finish, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.

Arrange the wrapped cocktail sausages on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with dipping sauces like mustard, ketchup, or BBQ sauce.
