Our passion behind Appel Farms cheese comes from our love of farming, family, the land, and the community that we live in, and that is what we love to share. We’re all about creating the best quality cheese for the customers we love. Based in Ferndale, Washington, our focus is making the highest quality farmstead artisan cheese. All our milk comes from our own dairy cows that we care for at the fa

rm with our customer's needs in mind. We know that your health and well-being matters. We work hard to raise healthy cows in a healthy environment so that our cheese is the best it can possibly be.

We are so grateful for the employees that work alongside us every day, many of whom have been with us for many years. Mild Gouda snack plate! During the holidays, your hosting appetizers don't need to be big, elaborate or intricate. A small number of local and specialty items that compliment (or at least don't clash with) eachother is all you need! I know it is always a little disappointing to see when we discontinue a flavor or variety (especially when it is one of your favorites)! This was one of my personal favorite flavors! It no longer makes sense for us to continue making it; for those who loved it, it will be sorely missed. This flavor was originally called "Sweet Red Pepper", and we rebranded it to "Ginger Bell" a few years ago to try to boost interest in it. Unfortunately, though it had plenty of time in big grocery stores, it has never been a very popular flavor. Maybe one day it will have another moment! 🧀

Welcome ✨🍅 Tomato Season 🍅✨ oh how we've missed you! All you need during this season is those fresh tomatoes, a high quality olive oil, fresh bread and some fresh cheese! We love our feta with tomatoes, but we also love mozzarella, burrata, etc. 🧀✨
