There is a post going around claiming that Richard’s Produce “dissed every single restaurant in town” and talked about how bad they are.

That is completely false.

I personally eat at local restaurants in Festus pretty frequently.… And I’m not exactly a small person I didn’t get this way from not liking food. 😂

More importantly, several local restaurants are customers of ours and shop with us regularly. I’m actually friends with several of the owners, we appreciate their business, and we have absolutely no reason to tear down other locally owned businesses.

I’m all for jokes, opinions, and people disagreeing with something we post. But making something up and presenting it like it actually happened is different.

If anyone saw our recent video/post about seedless watermelons and fast food, the point was simply to explain that seedless watermelons are NOT genetically modified. It was not an attack on Festus restaurants or the people who own them.

We work hard to support this community, and that includes supporting the other businesses in it.

So to our local restaurant owners and employees: if you happened to see that post, please know it is not true and did not come from us. We appreciate you guys and your business.

And for everybody else please don’t believe everything you read on Facebook. 😂

Parking lot update!!!

Thursday the driveway closest to the store will be closed but we will be open all day.

That follow monday(weather pending) we will be closed for the entire new parking lot install.

After that we will be bringing ALLLLL of your fall goodies in.

Mums, cornstalks, straw, pumpkins, and much much more
