Going to be at the Frederick Farmers Market today from 3-7. Might be my only appearance this year as I close my business and go back into the "regular job" world. Come see me and get your jam stocked up. Once I am out of a flavor, it is gone!

Having a difficult time getting the website updated so I will give a quick update here. COMPLETELY OUT of Plum Papaya, Thai Pineapple, Nectarine, and Chokecherry. Almost out of Strawberry Habanero, And Crab Apple.

It has been an emotional week for me, with the closing of my business, passion, and life for the last 4+ years. I have been letting my decision just sit for the last several days. It is the right thing to do, for me and especially for my family. I need you all to know that I am NOT closing the doors because it is not successful. I have accomplished almost every goal I set for myself. I am profitable. I am simply not profitable enough to do what I NEED to do for those I love. I will miss the freedom of being self employed. But come tax time, I will be so grateful not to do all of that every year! People have criticized me for having made plans and now cancelling them. Many have expressed that they didn't see this coming. Well, I had to run my business and to do that, I had to have plans on where and when to sell my jam. While this is a well thought through decision, it was not one I anticipated needing to make. But life changes. New circumstances come along. And priorities change. I will have updated availability on the website later today so that you can place orders to help liquidate my inventory. Thanks again for your support.

I needed to let everyone know that I will be closing St. Vrain Jam over the next month. I sincerely appreciate all of the support I have received over the last 4+ years, but it is time for me to go down a different path with my life and my family. I will no longer be making inventory and I have already so,d out of Plum Papaya, but feel free to order online, or come see me at a market over the next few weeks as I liquidate my remaining inventory. Thank you again for all of you support and encouragement.
