We are thrilled to share that, due to numerous requests from our valued customers, we are exploring a new opportunity to offer mobile kills as a regular service! In response to the growing demand, we have partnered with a new team member dedicated to providing this service once a week.
This initiative aims to provide our local producers with more options for custom meat processing, ensuring convenience and efficiency for everyone involved.

The initial two wagyu processed this year have proven to be exceptional. I commend the esteemed elite Western Wagyu for their outstanding work. I eagerly anticipate the evaluation of the third processed wagyu, scheduled for Monday, with the hope that it surpasses the remarkable quality of its predecessors. However, it is worth noting that a significant challenge lies ahead due to the relatively low melting point of 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Best of luck in maintaining the desired standard in the face of this challenging temperature threshold.

The weight of this particular wagyu was approximately 150 lbs lighter than yesterday's wagyu #7 carcass weight of 1380 lbs HCW. Notably, wagyu #5 exhibited an outstanding fat melting point of 89 degrees Fahrenheit and weighs 1221 lbs HCW, surpassing the average fat melting point of 93 degrees Fahrenheit found in most wagyu raised by Elite Western Wagyu. Graze & Grind, a company that was purposefully established five years ago, serves a distinct purpose in the industry. While the origin of our brand might remain unfamiliar to many, it is important to note that our inception was a direct response to the challenges faced by Elite Western Wagyu . EWW encountered difficulties in finding processing facilities that could meet the exacting standards demanded by their discerning clients. As a result, our organization emerged with the dual aim of not only fulfilling the processing needs but also ensuring the utmost care and attention for this exceptional product.
On an average day, our skilled team processes approximately 3-4 animals, which amounts to roughly 2000 pounds of meat. However, we recently encountered a Wagyu specimen that truly stood out, weighing a remarkable 1340 pounds in terms of hanging carcass weight (HCW). To put this into perspective, a quarter of this magnificent Wagyu is equivalent to half of a conventional beef carcass weighing 700 pounds HCW. Such proportions highlight the extraordinary nature of this particular Wagyu and its significance within our operations.

In the realm of world-class breeding and carcass development, the successful production of a specimen like the one at hand is not shrouded in mysterious feeding practices or deceptive tactics. Instead, it revolves around employing the finest available genetics and providing them with optimal nutrition. It is essential to recognize that genetics can only take one so far; after that, it is crucial to nourish the animals in a manner that allows them to fully express their genetic potential.
