Exciting things happening above the store this weekend. Our friends at Big Indian Farm Inc. will be opening their new restaurant, Gather from 8am until 11pm on Saturday with a limited menu and soft opening structure. Fire and Fork Fine Meats & Seafood will be opening at 10am until they’re out of food out in front of the store.

We’ve got a few new local items to highlight. Apples, peaches, and plums are in from Wades Orchards. We’re also now carrying a new gluten free line of bread, bagels and buns from Dragon's Beard Farm & Camp

We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!

Owners of Gather and Big Indian Bakery, Adrienne Davis and Earl White said that they are "starting to feel really good about" opening Gather to the public. White said he just wants to hit the ground, "well, you know, sprinting."

This FREE, family-friendly event series is presented by Town Of Floyd, VA and runs every other Thursday night from June 4th until August 27th, 2026! Events start at 6pm.

We have a little something for everyone: old time and bluegrass; Americana; soul; jazz; blues; rock; country; Cajun and salsa! You can look forward to an array of fun activities for the entire family this year, and in addition, we have 2 Movie Nights: JUNE 4th & & JULY 16th!

Fire and Fork Fine Meats & Seafood is bringing a fresh take on smoked meats and seafood to Floyd, now serving every Saturday from 10 AM until sold out in front of Harvest Moon Food Store! From brisket and beef ribs to oysters, sausages, pork ribs, and half chickens, their menu is built around quality, flavor, and care in every bite.

Pair your meal with their homemade, fresh sides, including sweet potato salad, white bean salad, broccoli slaw, greens, seasonal shortcake, and nut butter pudding. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, with meats cooked fresh that day...nothing reheated, frozen, or reused.

Fire and Fork will be permanently located at Harvest Moon (227 N. Locust St.) and is also available for catering. Stop by this Saturday, come hungry, and get there early… because when it’s gone, it’s gone!
