2014 MARKET SEASON ENDED ON THE 11th OF OCTOBER.

MARKET CLOSED UNTIL NEXT MARKET SEASON BEGINNING MAY 2015.

Amish Crookneck Pumpkin at Market this Saturday the 4th.

Local farmer, Ann Radford, is selling her bumper crop of heritage pumpkins which are kin to butternut squash yet larger.
Come on buy and take some home. They are excellent storage pumpkins lasting until next harvest!

Local Gourd Art at Market this Saturday, October the 4th.

New vendor Deberosa offers locally grown, dyed, painted and decorated gourds. Come on by and take home one of Debbie Johnson's thoughtfully crafted gourds. Debbie offers many types of gourds: birdhouses, for potted plants, as containers and for decoration.

We will be up closer in the parking area so you can see us from the road this week!

Wildwood Ridge Farm to begin selling at market this Saturday the 16th!
The Mannon family will be selling their pastured poultry, farm fresh eggs and cornmeal from the open-pollinated corn they grow. They will occasionally also have vegetables. They will be at market most, if not all, Saturdays for the rest of market.
We are delighted to welcome them to the Tailgate Market of Floyd!

Come on by Saturday for ample produce to choose from. Let's see what the wonderful rain did for all the bounty of this time of year! As Connie Dunaway said for what their family farm will have: "We have tomatoes in every shape, size and color!"

As always at the Tailgate Market of Floyd, you can shop for a variety of needs from vegetables and fruits, baked goods and tea, fudge and meringue, pottery, garden compost accelerator, basket, receive a dollar by minute massage and more!

Come on by and enjoy all the vendors have to offer at market this Saturday the 9th. Remember there is easy access with lots of parking and a wonderful welcoming feel to the Tailgate Market of Floyd.

This Saturday is the one time a month to get some wonderful raw goat milk cheddar cheese!
Laura Pynn, Pynnhaven Farm vendor, will be there with her farm fresh local cheese.

This Saturday is the last market Deborah Harris, vendor of Fanciful Fun and Dragon Ocarinas, will be at the Tailgate this market season as she's off to the Ohio Renaissance Fair. She's bringing the delightful purple Fairy Wagon! The fairy wagon is full of beautiful ocarinas, globular clay flutes, for sale and Deborah will paint your face, hand or arm with creative art you choose.

The Tailgate is glad to welcome back Cheryl and John Vest, vendors of Simply Stones. They posted to the left and you can view what they offer on their page.

Tara Orlando, vendor of Green Deva, is now off to the Michigan Renaissance Fair. We so enjoyed her vending presence and wonderful products. Thank you, Tara!

Local sweet corn coming to Market!
Todd Gordon, farmer from Riner, will have fresh corn this coming Saturday the 2nd. Come on by for wonderful non-certified organic produce, herbs and berries. Tomatoes have been abundant already and will continue to be so as well as much more!
You'll find such offerings at lease three stands: Gordon's, Moondance Family Farm and the Dunaway's of Willis.
See you Saturday.
Remember we'll be there rain or shine! And, there is ample parking, easy access from where you park and many places to rest and rejoice in the surrounding grassy areas which include some areas of shade.
