I have decided that I am no longer interested in breeding serama chickens. The few that I have left will be looking for new coops.

šŸ“Serama breeding trio, one rooster and two hens. They must go together, I will not separate. They are around a year old. The black hen is a gypsy.

🐄Seven serama chicks, off heat. They came from eggs shipped from Florida.

šŸ“Located in Flushing MI
Pick up only

I’m so devastated right now. Something got into my coop last night and killed my favorite serama rooster, Dirt, along with every other chicken but 4.
Dirt was a very special little rooster. Not only was he incredibly handsome, he was very friendly too. He would come up to the deck and just hangout with us. We even took him on side by side rides.
I always thought about making him a house chicken and I really wish I would have.😭😄

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there!šŸ’•

Big Red gave us another batch of New Zealand babies! We went from not having any new zealands for a while, to having 16 little babies in two days!

I have thinking about this for awhile now and I’ve made a decision.

I plan on switching my rabbits to vienna free lines and trying to focus on just a few colors. I fell in love with the vm free body type!

I may still breed a few vm lines, but if I do, I’d like to work towards a better body type and just a few colors also.

When I started breeding holland lops I just jumped into it without necessarily having a goal, it was just for fun. Now I have figured out my goal and I’m ready to jump into it!

With that being said I will be moving out most of my herd. At this moment I’ve decided that both my bucks and one doe can go, they all have full pedigrees and are proven. I will make separate post for each later today.

I’m very excited to start my new vienna free lines!!

I’m hoping there’s a bunch of does because I plan on keeping one, maybe two.

We are in the process of starting our vienna free holland lop lines!

I would like to introduce Sprinkle! She is a sable point vm free holland lop bred by Crossroads Holland Lops.

I have decided to go in a different direction with the colors than I originally planned, (so Britney will most likely be available soon.)

Thank you The Crazy Acre Farm for letting us have such a gorgeous doe! It was great seeing y’all again!!

It’s been a few days since I posted anything. We’ve been pretty busy with projects, eggs hatching and bottle feedings. (We also have a few new additions to the farm šŸ˜‰)

Britney ended up not taking care of her litter so I’ve been trying everything to help them but unfortunately none of them made it.

When everyone goes broody in the favorite nest boxā€¦šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
All my chickens love this nest box for some reason, except Sheryl Crow. This week she is using the feeder, last week she was laying eggs on top of the rabbit hutch, and the week before was in the goat shack.
