Nothing better than a happy little tail wag at breakfast! 🥛🐮💕

This little girl is pretty excited about her morning milk!

Her mama is Zofie, who is 9 years old and our second oldest cow in the herd! ❤️ Now we need your help with the hard part… her baby needs a name!

And yes, we know… technically she should have a “Z” name like her mama. 😂 But after this many years, Z names are HARD! We finally gave up and switched this family over to R!

So let’s hear them — what should we name her?

The only rule: it has to start with R! 🐮

Can you believe he’s 15 already?! 🥳

Happy 15th Birthday to Tucker! ❤️ Somehow the little boy who was always tagging along has turned into this big kid who works hard, loves his cows, helps out whenever he’s needed, and is becoming a pretty great young man.

He can drive us absolutely crazy, eat everything in the house, and give us plenty of reasons to shake our heads 😂… but we sure are proud of him.

And if these pictures tell you anything, he’s a pretty great big brother too. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Tucker! We love you more than you’ll ever admit you like hearing us say. 😂❤️

🐮 AMANDA UPDATE! ❤️

Look who’s doing well!! 🙌

Amanda and her not-so-little Angus calf, Hugo are both doing great! ❤️ After the scare she gave us last week, we’re VERY happy to be sharing this update.

At 17 years old, Amanda is apparently not ready to give up her job just yet. 😂 And Hugo seems pretty pleased with himself too!

Thanks to everyone who asked about her, checked in, and was rooting for our old girl. ❤️ We know quite a few of you were waiting for an update!

Na na na na… I’M STILL ALIVE! 😂🐮

Ever wonder what we’re doing on all those days the store is closed? 😂 Well, yesterday was a pretty good example…

We’ve mentioned to quite a few of you that we were waiting (and waiting!) for our 17-year-old cow, Amanda, to have her baby.

Well… she finally calved Wednesday!

Amanda was bred to two different bulls, so it was completely up in the air what she was going to have. We could have SWORN she was carrying twins, and there were lots of dreams around here of one little brown Jersey and one little black Angus. 😂

Instead, she pushed out ONE gigantic Angus bull calf! 😳 Not twins, but a big, happy, healthy baby!

Amanda, on the other hand… decided to scare the absolute crap out of us yesterday and tried to die on us quite a few times. 🤦‍♀️ At 17 years old, having a giant calf definitely took a lot out of her.

But this morning she was UP and ready to EAT! 🙌❤️

We’re definitely not out of the woods yet, but she’s doing better, and this was a VERY welcome sight this morning!

So yep… sometimes when the store is closed, this is what’s happening behind the scenes. There’s never really a “closed” day on a dairy farm. 😂🐮❤️

And apparently Amanda has decided she’s not done bossing us around quite yet!

Since we made our sample batch of Banana Split Ice Cream, we’ve had so many people asking when we were going to make more! 🍌🍓🍫

Things are finally slowing down just enough that we got a batch made today!

We did some tweaking—a little more of this and a little less of that—and we think we’ve got it just right!
