Monstera Peru Aurea, everyone. Say hello. 👋💛

This one's got that golden variegation on top of the classic textured, thick leaves. It's honestly one of the most beautiful monsteras we've brought in.

WHY IT'S RARE
Standard Monstera Peru is already a favorite for those crinkly, jungle-feel leaves. But the Aurea form? That creamy-gold variegation is a whole different level, and it's much harder to come by. Add in how uniquely patterned each leaf is, and no two of these are ever alike.

CARE
Light: bright, indirect light. Good light keeps that golden variegation strong.
Water: let the top 2 inches dry out before watering again.
Soil: chunky, well-draining aroid mix.
Humidity: loves higher humidity, 50-70% is the sweet spot.
Fertilize: light feeding monthly in spring and summer.
Pro tip: give it a moss pole and watch the leaves size up fast.

ok it's almost that time... winter is coming for ur plants ❄️🌿

the days get shorter, the heat kicks on, and everything changes for ur leafy friends. here's how to keep em happy & not crispy:

1. LIGHT. winter sun is weak. move ur plants closer to the brightest window or grab a grow light. even a cheap one helps!!

2. COLD. that window spot that was cozy in summer is a freezing draft at night. keep leaves off the cold glass & away from drafty doors. sudden temp swings = stressed plants 😭

3. HUMIDITY. this is the big one!! the heat dries everything out & tropical plants HATE it. humidifier, group ur plants together, pebble trays... whatever works. crispy edges? that's why.

4. WATER LESS. plants grow slower in winter so they drink less. check the soil first, let it dry out more than summer. overwatering is still the #1 killer even in january!!

5. EASE UP ON FOOD. most houseplants don't need fertilizer in winter. let em rest till spring.

6. KEEP TEMPS EVEN. most plants like 60-75°. keep em away from the heat vents & radiators.

7. WATCH FOR PESTS. dry air = spider mite season. check under those leaves!!

do this now & they'll come outta winter lookin the same as they went in. save this for when the cold hits!!!
