BIG UPDATE! Please read!!
First of all, we would like to apologize for not reaching out or posting over the last 6 months, there has been a lot of time needed for decisions regarding the operation of the stand.
It has been an incredible 16 years of Tom’s Berry Patch, 16 amazing years of living the farm life dream including but not limited to; lot’s of summer fun, tractors, and an incredible love for berries. It’s been 16 wonderful years of getting to know all of our customers and loving every minute of welcoming all of you and your families to our farm.
Unfortunately, we will not be opening for the 2025 season or beyond. As Tom begins the first steps toward his retirement, the berry stand is the first of multiple farm operations to close. We would like to thank you all for the amazing memories you have given us. Those memories and acts of kindness are what inspire us to keep growing, changing, and evolving into something new, just like the nature around us.
While we have closed the doors for Tom’s Berry Patch, please notice that our page name will be changing to Vance Family Farm & Nursery. We will be continuing our love of the open air and land, and embracing all that nature has to offer and teach us, in a new location starting 2026. It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to start a new farming adventure, so as we develop our plans, please stay tuned-in to our page.
This has been one of the most heartbreaking decisions that we have had to make. Our kids were raised at Tom’s Berry Patch and we have spent our life around the farm. If there was a way to keep this dream going we would have loved to continue. We move forward with gratitude, and hope for what lies ahead, embracing the changes and opportunities to create something new.
