By modifying and adapting her food habits, she was able to avoid surgery. She decided to turn this nutritional technique, love and passion, into a public practice dedicated to educ
ate masses about the amazing nutritional health benefits of the Mediterranean gastronomy and the use of fresh local seasonal produce. Inspired by her family’s Mediterranean cooking, and applying her chemistry and food technology knowledge, she started practicing what she called nutritional healing remedies. Weiss applies her nutrition and scientific background knowledge in order to hand select food items with specific attributes that are known to heal targeted diseases and symptoms. Weiss is very passionate about what she does! Her commitment to this cause goes simply beyond business, as she volunteers for several non-profit organizations. Weiss serves on the board of directors for the Spanish Benevolent Society and have volunteered extensive times to the Catalan Institute of America, among others. Weiss is contributing her own capital to build a sustainable farm and set up a farm stand. Her dream is to provide organic, local, fresh produce at affordable prices to her family, her community, and to be able to donate produce to those in need.
