Crossing Brook Farm is a second generation family farm. The Brown family has been operating multiple greenhouses and produce farming for over 40 years! Rob and Sandi Brown operated the original Crossing Brook Farm stand and U-pick strawberry fields in the late 1980's to early 1990's. Now their youngest son, Kent, is 9 years out of the U.S. Navy and back to his roots 9 years into farming. Along wit

h his wife, Allison, they revived and operate todays Crossing Brook Farm. From the spring greenhouse nursery, U-Pick Strawberry, Blackberry, Zinnia, and Pumpkin fields, to the massive variety of seasonal produce - you’ll wish you found us sooner!

We are PICKED OUT! Due to lots of pickers this AM and yesterday as of NOON THURSDAY 5/21 we are closing the fields to pickers for the remainder of today 5/21 and will be closed Friday 5/22 as well.

STRAWBERRY PYO is open but keep in mind the season is ending so picking will be slower as there are less berries ripe at once vs peak season. We are hoping to get 1 more week out of them!

Kids Play Field is open! shaded Sandbox, field games, slides etc. We wanted to offer a spot for play dates and just something fun to do with the kids when you visit the farm and we thought Fall doesn't have to be the only time for the Kid's field! Family farms are extra special because in the midst of all the craziness farming can bring we have big life moments that remind us to slow down and celebrate together!
Join us in congratulating our beautiful niece Lainey and her husband Parker on their recent marriage! Lainey has worked at the farmstand for years and we’re lucky enough to have her back some this summer!!
While she’s not a Brown by name anymore her and her newly founded family will always be a part of the legacy her grandparents started here at Crossing Brook! Working, planning a wedding, and attending Longwood - you go girl! It was a picture perfect April evening and we couldn’t be happier for their future!

Sunday PYO update - to keep it simple: if you’re extremely determined and can withstand SLOW picking we will allow you into the fields but otherwise we aren’t going to false advertise that our fields are open for a great picking day and make anyone feel like they wasted their time!
🍓 We are hoping for maybe 1 more weekend of picking if the green berries ripen well!

We will have some pre-picked berries when we open
