The veggie garden is getting planted today and tomorrow!! Pretty stoked! Basil is coming out of every corner, 2 4x8 beds of tomatoes, a cherry tomato trellis, onions literally everywhere, sunflower leaves making nice beds for ladybugs. It’s a happy place ☺️ peppers and eggplants will be planted tomorrow with other herbs and direct sowed vegetables.

I love evening garden walks ☺️ I get to ooo and ahh over my plants, seedlings, and flowers. I talk to them (I’m sure my neighbors think I’m crazy 😂) and tell them how well they are growing. It’s just the beginning of the season, and I can’t wait to see how everything looks in the next few weeks!!

You guys are amazing!! I received so many amazing messages about moms who need some extra love this week. It was beautifully overwhelming 💕 so many people were telling me the stories of their friend, their mom, mother in law, or coworkers.

The mom who will be receiving this bouquet is an amazing mother and friend despite many obstacles being thrown at her. Because of her love for others, she continues to do what she can to show up for others despite people taking advantage of that kindness. I hope these flowers remind her that she is seen and that she is loved 💕🌸

Crop failure 🪾🥀 Sometimes things just don’t work out how you planned. We weren’t supposed to have a huge peony harvest this year because the plants are still young. But I was hoping for at least a few bouquets. During this last frost, I covered the peonies with plastic hoping to preserve the blooms. Unfortunately the cold still got to them and the blooms are no longer bouquet quality. But these blooms will still be enjoyed along our sidewalk and will provide energy to the plant for next year, with hopefully bigger and more blooms 🌸 this photo is the only peony bloom that was untouched before and after the rain!!

Wow what a beautiful spring we have had!! I am so thankful to you all for supporting your local gardens 💕 this spring would have been so different without yall!!! Almost all of the summer flowers have been planted, so now it’s time for patience and growth 🌱
