Berkshire Whole Roasting Pigs up to 50 pounds

A small roaster pig. The meat from a Berkshire pig is prized for being incredibly tender and delicious. You will receive the pig cleaned with skin-on, head-on and insides removed. The pig is raw, not cooked.

My husband is the best!

Last evening my husband, Allen Stabe , gave me refresher training to back up our stock trailer for unloading our steers at the processor this morning.

The lesson started with a pickup and a trailer made from small blocks of wood. The trailer was hitched to the pickup with wire. On a separate piece of wood he had drawn the pen and gate layout at the processor. He demonstrated several scenarios.

The second part of my training was to drive the pickup with the trailer in tow around the shop then backup to an opening representing the gate at the processor. I did this many times until my confidence was in a good place.

Dinner last evening was the last steak from our 1/13/26 harvest. Black Angus grass-fed and alfalfa finished. It was delicious!

Pizza sauce made with vine-ripened tomatoes from our greenhouse!

We have been perfecting our sourdough pizza using dough that ferments for up to a week and this delicious pizza sauce. 😋
