When Mia was dropped off at the house as an Italian Greyhound Rescue foster dog 14 years ago- we knew she wasn't leaving. Her foster mom at the time suggested she didn't eat people food ever- well, that became the longest running inside joke ever! She immediately bonded with Lilly and the two were thick as thieves until she friended a shy whippet in the house that she taught how to act like a dog. Mia had a lot of cats at home to hassle, farm markets every Friday for 13 years, kids to bark at and lots of opportunities to not listen. We didn't wait too long and she's with lots of friends and family now running and getting into things. She's being cremated and a little bit of her will stay here and some will come to be with us in Hawai'i. You were a great dog Mia and will be missed but never forgotten.
