Update: the House votes Tuesday on the funding bill carrying the h**p delay. Under suspension of the rules — two-thirds needed, no amendments.

If it passes, the deadline moves from November 12 to December 11. Not for everything. Synthetic cannabinoids stay on the November 12 track regardless.

The White House has reportedly told Congress this is the only delay it will support. If Tuesday doesn't produce a real framework by December, there isn't a second bite.

Watching this one closely.

New hours, officially. Eight months of data told us what we needed to know — Mondays are quiet and nobody's coming in after 6pm. So we're taking those hours back for our family.

New hours:
Tuesday – Friday: 12–6pm
Saturday: 11am–6pm
Sunday + Monday: Closed

This Friday, Tracy Sweeney, co-founder of Tomorrow Cellars, is coming to Swizzle in person to pour all three of her w**es — the Red Blend, Rhône Blanc, and Sparkling Blanc de Rhône. No ticket required. Just come in, taste, and ask her anything w**e related. She is a wealth of knowledge.

Tomorrow Cellars is one of our top sellers for a reason. Tracy spent decades at Treasury W**e Estates before leaving to solve a problem she couldn't stop thinking about — why wasn't there a great alcohol-free w**e? The answer is on our shelf and it includes a collab with our favorite bitters maker, Ian Blessing with All the Bitter. Friday you can hear it straight from her.

He served, came home, became a dad. He never wanted to talk about Vietnam — the brothers he lost. I know little. He designed it that way.

He ended every email with: "Without Each Other, None Of Us Would Exist."

That phrase means more to me every time I look at this photo. I don't know how many of these men made it home.

Three generations. Two still here. I've added a daughter to the line of strong women since this was taken. And this weekend, I'm closing the shop Monday and Tuesday to be present with my mom while she visits. No distractions. Just time. Love them while you have them. We're back Wednesday.
