A huge THANK YOU to everyone for your patience this past weekend, especially with the constant generator noise at our Douglas Farms Farmstand!

As many of you know, our power went out Thursday evening due to the widespread storms that moved through our area. Thanks to my wonderful husband, he immediately sprang into action, getting our generator ready and hooked up to our 220V freezer, five additional upright freezers, and four refrigerators that keep our Farmstand stocked.

For the next 2½ days, he worked around the clock rotating power to our equipment and making countless trips to Lafayette to refill gas cans. We are truly blessed to say that we did not lose any of our delicious meats, dairy products, or bakery items.

We are also incredibly grateful for the many friends, neighbors, and customers who reached out and offered assistance, supplies, and encouragement to help keep us going. Your generosity and kindness remind us why we love being part of this amazing community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your patience, and your friendship. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can express.

WHAT A HUGE, HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF AWESOME VENDORS WHO SHOWED UP TODAY FOR OUR PICKKERS PARADISE. I WAS AMAZED AT OUR TURNOUT TODAY. The weather was certainly a concern but THANKFULLY we were able to see Blue Sky's by 9:30 until our event was over. ALSO A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT TO SUPPORT OUR VENDORS. Jim and I are so THANKFUL for each and everyone of you! 🥰
