Happy Labor Day!

As the seasons change, the gardens get needy and demand our attention. The stand is open today and we will be out and about harvesting and putting new produce up at the stand as it gets picked and there is space for it.

The tomatoes are still deciding that they are in charge and have the entire right fridge to keep them cool.

We hope you enjoy a break from your regular week!

Sorry for the late post, I have been up to my ears trying to get some of our peppers and onions preserved!

🍞We have opened for the day and bread is being made throughout the day today.
🥬We also have potatoes, squash, veggies and canned goods.
🍪While we have an assortment of cookies, we do not have any coffee cakes as that fridge has been completely taken over by heirloom and cherry tomatoes.
🍅We also have a couple pints of assorted color/variety cherry tomatoes.

Happy Saturday!

Despite my best efforts to stretch out summer, this morning certainly is a reminder that we have officially entered the "-ber months"! Today feels like a good day to grab some peppers, onions, and tomatoes; toss them in a 350° oven for 30-40 minutes until they get soft and extra flavorful before blending them together to make a delightful and hearty tomato soup. 🍲

We have several extra large tomatoes for $1 as well as some smaller tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeños and garlic for either $.50 or $.25. We also have bread baking and making its ways up throughout the day.

Wow! This time of year keeps me busy!! Cooking, weeding, watering and canning/freezing. You can find new jam flavors. This week I made peach and mix berry. Also I made a peach coffee cake today. As the garden winds down make sure you get those last few summer flavors in.

🍞🍞🍞 BREAD change 🍞🍞🍞

Good morning! Due to our resident bread baker's summer vacation ending, need to finish setting up her classroom today, and an education conference tomorrow- bread is only being baked in the morning today and tomorrow. Sunday will be a normal day. Starting NEXT WEEK bread is only going to be made on Saturday and Sunday.
