Happy Tuesday, Folks❣️It’s going to be a beautiful day and we’re looking forward to seeing ya’ll. It’s been a huge restock week, as well as introducing some new products, so come on by and grab a few things. If you’ve not enjoyed our amazing selection of North Carolina Seafood yet, you’re truly missing out. Nothing compares. We recently moved all of the seafood into its own freezer up front so make sure to take a look while you’re there. Very thankful for our partnership with - it’s such an honor to meet up with them on Thursdays and bring all of the incredible fish to ya’ll. 🎣

Here’s one of our friends dishes she shared with us the other night: NC American Red Snapper with a delicious sauce of yellow cherry tomatoes, castlevetrano olives, capers, garlic, Meyer lemon juice/zest and some grilled okra - ALL from yonder! ❤️

Looking forward to starting our Classic Country Night back up with Jim Austin + his band. First Friday of the month, June - October! Ya’ll come on out and enjoy live music under the oaks. Bring a lawn chair and a friend or two. Family Friendly | Dog Friendly. Store will remain open for any drink or snack needs!

The individual who decided to steal from us yesterday has been identified. Thank you to our amazing community and followers for giving us leads. Police were notified and that process is underway. However, we have learned that she has stolen from other local businesses and has warrants out for her arrest already, some from almost a year ago. Even with this, though, she’s not been held accountable. She was back in a business she stole from after the warrants were issued. Since nothing seems to be done, businesses, I’d keep an eye out. She will engage, be very friendly, ask you a lot of questions about products, and then walk around loading up her tan tote bag. We have many photos and videos, so fellow businesses can contact us if you want info. For now, we have decided to take down the initial post made after the incident - we were receiving personal death threats and it’s just getting weird. Stay vigilant out there. We love ya’ll. 🙏❤️

On another note, what’s up with Franklin lately? We’ve been in business for a long time in this town and I’ve not seen the level of riff-raff as we’ve had in recent months - numerous thieves (one who was caught and arrested), super strange people with odd motives, weird activity on our property during and outside of business hours. What’s happening? We’re on guard more than ever. Putting up extra security and have had to do more training with staff about how to handle such situations. Not cool. It’s almost impossible out here to be small business owners then we’ve got to deal with this type of nonsense?

Folks, as an outdoor venue, we’re always at the mercy of the weather, and unfortunately today’s forecast is not looking favorable. After careful consideration, we and Ed have made the decision to postpone today’s show.

We know many of you travel in for these events, and with the current conditions, it simply feels like too much time, effort, and expense for everybody involved to take the chance. We’re truly disappointed, as we’ve been looking forward to kicking off the series for quite some time.

The good news is that we have rescheduled his show for SUNDAY, JULY 5th! Stay tuned for more announcements soon.

For now, our next scheduled show is Sunday, June 21st.

Thankful for Ignacio and Ashley 🥕 Our relationship is 6 years deep now. They’re our main grower of the best produce, ever. Look at this farm! No pesticides. No heavy chemical fertilizers - and they’re thriving! They’re up at the wee hours of the morning hand harvesting for you and deliver in-season produce right to our door. This is the way produce should be consumed. Please, for the love of God, stop buying your produce from the big box stores.

Our Summer Concert Series under the oaks at Yonder starts this Sunday, May 24th at 4pm! I hope ya’ll mark your calendars and share with your friends and neighbors. 6 years running strong and bringing the best talent to Franklin, NC.

We’re so excited to welcome our friend to the stage this year! Ed’s music feels deeply tied to this region and the people in it. He’s spent decades writing honest, thoughtful songs and helping build community around independent music through places like the Down Home in Johnson City, where we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him over the years. This is going to be an afternoon you won’t forget.

Parking along the street on Hillcrest Avenue (do not block driveways or park in neighbors yards please), behind us at Smart Pharmacy (no overnight parking), or adjacent the property at the office building with upper and lower parking lot.

When entering the lawn space you’ll see a table set up where you can put your donations in the jar, grab a custom poster, and a little more info about what we do. Don’t skip this!

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in to relax. will be set up serving hot food and the store remains open for any picnic/snack needs and amazing selection of beverages.

The show is not necessarily free - we just choose not to sell tickets to allow for a more open environment. If you can swing it, give $20-$40 per person in the donation jar. 100% of money collected goes to the artists. Bring extra for the merch table! The community coming together helps keep this series alive and well. Support live music and independent artists!
