Happy Sunday, friends!
The stand won’t be out today. After such a great weekend, we’re down to just one box of Oatmeal Cream Pies and one loaf of Classic Sourdough, so I’m calling it a wrap for this week! If you’d like either of those, just let me know and I’ll run them out to you.
Thank you all so much for another wonderful weekend and for keeping us so busy! 🥰
A little heads up for next week, the stand will not be out Friday. We have a couple of big orders to focus on this week, and Friday evening we’ll be set up at Fall Vendor Night at Walter’s Ruritan Club from 5:30–9 PM! 🍂
So instead of stopping by the stand Friday, come see us there! There will be a bunch of local vendors to shop from, and it looks like it’s going to be such a fun night!
Then we’ll be back at Goose Hill Farm Saturday morning!

Good morning, friends! 👋
The stand is out! And the free candied apples are in the fridge and ready to go! No purchase necessary, just grab one and enjoy. 💛 I'll add more as these cool and I can package them up.
I did get a little behind on my regular stand goodies this morning because apparently turning sugar into candy takes approximately 47 years. 😂
I’ll be working in the kitchen and adding more apple goodies to the stand throughout the day, so keep an eye out if you stop by later!

Last weekend was one of those experiences that puts a lot of things into perspective. ❤️

I was fortunate enough to spend a few hours lending a hand as Family 4 Eternity distributed an incredible donation of apples. In just 96 hours, 45,000 pounds reached 16 localities across 3 states, making their way to families, schools, churches, food pantries and so many others.

I came home incredibly humbled by what I had witnessed, and with quite a few apples of my own.
Those apples were given freely to bless our communities, and we want to continue a little piece of that.
So this weekend, we're turning some of those apples into candied apples to give away at the stand and the farm. They're simply our way of hopefully passing that kindness along just a little bit farther.
I hope Family 4 Eternity, the Dunaways and every volunteer who gave their time know just how incredible what they accomplished was.
45,000 pounds of apples and a whole lot of kindness passed from one person to the next. 💞

I may have ended up with just a few apples this weekend, and I'm determined not to let a single one go to waste. 💪
First up today is homemade applesauce and apple butter. And I hope y'all love apples as much as I do, because this weekend's menu is going ALL IN on apple season. 😂🍎🍂
There's actually a pretty incredible story behind all these apples in my kitchen, but I'll save that for a post of its own. ❤️
For now... send help. And maybe another sink. 😂

I've been meaning to stop by, but just hadn't gotten a chance until today. What I didn't realize was that she's only SIX MINUTES down the road from me. This could be trouble... 😂
My daughter and I might have come home with a few new additions. 🫣😁 So if you're a fellow plant lover, go check her out! She has such a cute setup, a great selection, and really good prices. We're already looking forward to our next visit! 💚

I wasn't home this morning to get the stand out, and honestly, there wasn't enough left to set everything up before I left anyway. But I do have a few goodies left if anyone would like them!
