Its a wet and wild one tonight at Highland Acres Farm - Franklinville, NY .

Lots of rain - the barn is flooding & that's a project for tomorrow. Everyone is clean & stalls have dry bedding. They're fed and watered and that's as good as its going to get until the rain quits.

The lightning has been basically nonstop. Ping pong ball sized hail was reported on 16 and we're all still under a tornado watch. I dont ever recall so many tornadoes or tornado threats. Its definitely crazy. Stay safe friends!

Ignore the grumpy calves in the background. They wanted their hay 😂

🍞Here is the dedicated gluten free baked goods menu for this week. My oven has been replaced & I can accommodate preorders again! YAY!

If you're new here, welcome! All baked goods are dedicated gluten free/wheat free & made in a completely gluten free/wheat free kitchen, so there is no cross contamination. Some of our products are also dairy free, egg free, soy free & nut free too. Check the headings & look for letters in parenthesis after each product. If it says (N), it has nuts, for example.
Our sourdough is refined sugar free (NYS maple) and we use local honey or organic cane sugar in our other baked goods.
I tried to indicate top 10 allergens on the menu. If you have an allergy, please notify me at the time of ordering so I can double check your order.

✔️Preordering is easy!
Simply send us a PM by Thursday 9/3 at 8pm, with your order AND the pick up location you'd like.
We will respond with our venmo & your total AFTER preorders close at 8pm on Thursday. This will confirm your order & provide you with a way to prepay. If you don't have venmo, please let us know. If you have questions, please let us know & we'll answer then.

✔️Pickup is easy!
Come to the Springville Farmers Market on Saturday 9/5. Your order will be available between 9am-1pm. (The market starts at 8, but I run a working farm & have to do morning chores and am often a bit later than I'd like to be - sorry... the cows, goats, chickens, ducks, pigs & cats expect their breakfast!) OR choose an alternate location shown below.

Everything is USDA inspected/packaged and vacuum sealed. This is a great way to save some money and stock your freezer.

After some oven drama the last couple of weeks, I am finally back in the baking business! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. She worked hard (RIP), but I've moved on to bigger and better things. A double oven is a dream 🥰 I'll be back to preorders and sourdough next week. Sourdough is a 3 day process and the new oven wasn't up and running until this morning.

We will have yeasted white and garlic & herb bread, vegan cinnamon rolls and vegan strawberry and blackberry danishes at Springville Farmers Market tomorrow! Everything is gluten free, wheat free, soy free, nut free and DAIRY FREE this week. The only product with eggs is the danish.

RIP Dolly! You were one of the greats! So many memories listening to you and line dancing to you over the years.. I always smile when I hear 9 to 5. I felt the same way....

And now, theres no actual 9 to 5 with farm life.

Gluten free fried green tomatoes and canadian bacon for lunch...mmmm. there's a feeling of happiness when everything on your plate is grown at home and you know exactly what went into it. No fillers. No hormones or antibiotics.

If anyone needs green tomatoes, shoot me a pm and I'll bring you some Saturday at Springville Farmers Market . Happy to leave some in the stand as well. Just lmk. :)

Gluten free fried green tomatoes are on the menu in the next day or two. They are one of my favorite summer foods. I make extra and freeze them. Then I pop them in the airfryer.

Have you ever tried them? Love them or hate them??

And yes, sometimes you have to use your shirt to carry produce to the house 😂

If anyone wants to make some, feel free to shoot me a pm. I can leave them in the farmstand in franklinville or bring them to next week's Springville Farmers Market .

Ahhh fresh grass! Nothing makes these ladies and gentlemen happier!

Our absolutely crazy, always on the run with ears perked, white face bull calf is also growing nicely. Look at that chunk! ❤️

The last rain we had was FINALLY enough to make some grass grow. Unfortunately, we've been feeding hay for weeks. I hate feeding "winter food" during the summer. You run low or run out in the winter because you had to feed it for half the summer. You dont have a choice when the grass doesnt grow though because these guys expect to eat no matter what and its our job to make sure they do.

We're finally in a nice rain cycle for pastures and gardens... not so much for making more dry hay though - and that is finally regrowing too. The struggle is real.
