Yesterday we had our second and third Kindlings to two of our previously proven mommas. Serenity and Luna both had at least one litter of kits last year and both did a great job taking care of their babies. Both Mommas were bred with our new Flemish Buck Binx. At first count it seems like Serenity who is New Zealand/Chinchilla had 9 kits. Luna who is New Zealand/Flemish at first count has only had 4 but there may be more buried in the nest. Final counts will be taken and initial pictures posted in a few days. So make sure to check back in a few days for more info.

Meat rabbits will be 2 wks this Thursday. 9 in this litter. Primarily made of black and silver color if interested in any as a pet. 6 more wks and they will be ready to go as a pet. If u want them for meat it will take another 15 wks.

Good evening everyone! So we recently (ok a couple wks ago) bred a flemish giant (beautiful silver grey mama) and one of our very own meat breed rabbits (chocolate color mama). This will be the first litter for both of them so if everything goes good babies should be ready for new homes by Easter. If you want them for meat then they will take a bit longer as they have to reach full growth. Now to those who haven't heard of the flemish giant breed they make great pets. They are very easy to house train and are very loving. They can get to the size of a small dog or bigger but not all do. So it's always best to prepare just to be safe. Below is a pic of the flemish giant mama. Isn't she beautiful!? The other pic is of the flemish giant dad.

Hey everyone. I know it's been a while. Our winter season is going to be slow due to the cold. We will begin harvesting rabbits again around the end of April beginning of May. Whenever the weather decides it wants to warm up again. We are going to also try and get into harvesting duck so plz be patient with us. Winter is a very slow season.

Hey everyone! This morning we came home to a very big surprise! We found out our grey bunny had babies! Can u guess how many!? No? Well she had around 9 maybe more or less babies! Crazy amount. One we found in Hope's cage (tan/brown bunny). When I picked it up it was so cold to the touch so we put it back where it belongs. We don't think it will make it but who knows. Maybe it will fight the odds. Bunnies are born without fur originally and grow into it rather quick for a lesson of the day 😉😀.
In other news keep ur fingers crossed our other 2 are pregnant. That means more meat or money (by selling the bunnies when of age) for the homestead. Talk to you soon! And thank u for liking our page ❤
