Cedarmore Farmers’ Market The Farmers' Market is a community-based, youth-staffed market that provides farm-fresh, local produce to customers at an affordable price.

This year, we are a drive thru market and you can pre-order online. No need to get out of your car. The Freeport Farmers' Market gives community members a greater choice of fresh produce and healthy food options; provides jobs to local youth; boosts the local and regional economy; promotes nutrition and education to residents; and contributes to a sense of place within Freeport

Nassau County Guardians Association shared:

Nassau County Law Enforcement Exploring is now accepting new “recruits” into their Police Explorer program. If you have a son or daughter or any other family member between the ages of 14 (and 9th grade) through 20, now is the time to sign them up! New Explorers are only accepted into the program once a year at the Annual Explorer Open House which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 12th.

Please visit the Exploring website at www.nclee.org Click on “Join the Program” located in the orange box on the home page. Complete the form and submit. This will pre-register your child/family member and they will receive additional information about the October 12th Open House. Anyone interested in joining must pre-register to receive the information.
