Our apologies, we closed at 3 today. At the beginning of the storm we had a wind that came through and ripped the side of our #1 greenhouse off, along with pulling some of the metal off of it. Our portapotties flew across the driveway like the Wizard of Oz....thank goodness they were not in use.
We decided to leave most of the cleanup to tomorrow morning, when the rain and wind would be gone.
Our damage is minimal and easily fixed. Our sales will continue bright and early on Monday at 10am. We were busy up until the storm, thanks to all of you!!

See you all tomorrow 😊

We have a sourdough baker, Kathy Sanchez!! She drops bread here Saturdays and Wednesdays, stop out and see what deliciousness she has made to sell, it is so good!!
We have Drain Farms honey fresh from the hive, finally. It took the bees a little longer with the chilly early weather to produce some of that sweet golden goodness for us, nothing beats fresh local honey.
We have old fashioned sugar plums, the kind you will never find at the grocery store, just soft juicy sweetness. They are here from the Carolinas, along with fresh picked peaches. Local strawberries have started, we get ours fresh each morning from Polters here in Fremont. They are coming on slowly, but so worth the wait. We only carry Polters berries, they have the best quality around.
Fresh picked asparagus, get your fill before the season ends. We also have Ohio zucchini, grape tomatoes, red tomatoes, and lettuce. The Ohio produce season is definitely starting to get going, we are thankful for that!!
The greenhouses are bursting with gorgeous plants. We have new varieties of many flowers just starting to bloom. More colors than we had at the beginning of the season, stop out and see for yourself. We unloaded another truck a couple days ago, along with bringing more out of our growing houses, even with the late start to the warm weather, the plants are growing so well. We have more cucumber, tomato, and pepper plants just hitting the greenhouses now.

The greenhouses are packed full of beauties just waiting to find their forever homes. The gorgeous spring weather has finally warmed up enough that our plants are catching up, so many blossoms and so much color throughout the houses.
This year we waited on our perennials longer than I can ever remember waiting on them, we are finally starting to get some color out in the perennial area. Customers are noticing them, and buying them up as they bloom. Hardy geraniums, dianthus, salvias and more. Everyday something new.
We have been replanting and buying in vegetable plants, doing our best to keep up with demand. I never dreamed we would sell as many herbs and veggies as we do today back when we started growing plants. Thankful for all of you that support us!! Adding that 7th house and the extra space definitely helped, we are taking notes of the varieties we need to plant even more of in the future.
We still have an awesome selection of annuals to give you the color your gardens and pots need this summer. Lots to chose from. Still have lots of beautiful hanging baskets, premium annuals, houseplants, succulents and more.
The produce is delicious. We got in the most delicious sugar plums from the Carolinas, something you would never find in a big store. Bicolor sweetcorn from Georgia. Fresh picked qsparagus, lettuce, and the start of local zucchini. We have both Tennessee and Ohio tomatoes, and so much more. The produce season has begun, stop out and get a taste of it for yourself.

What a beautiful day!!
We are open Memorial Day 10am to 4pm.
It looks like we may have a bit of dry weather for a few days. The farmers will be getting in those fields trying to get their work finished, please be aware and careful as there will be more tractors on our roads moving around.
One of the questions we are asked often is if it is too late to plant a garden...our answer is it is definitely not too late, we plant a lot in the month of June. Most of my garden gets planted in June every year. With the recent years of up and down temps, planting once the ground is warmer often times leads to a stronger plant that is not stunted by cold temperatures. At the farm market, we plant crops in 2 week intervals, meaning we would plant and replant certain crops every two weeks to get a harvest throughout the summer. Sweetcorn, redbeets, muskmelons, greenbeans, etc, are all planted and replanted multiple times. We planted sweetcorn 5 or 6 times to have it the entire season. When you start planting later, you may miss that first harvest, but you will still harvest plenty. We wanted pumpkins planted by mid June, but were fine if they got planted by July 1. My flower garden is similar, I plant annuals well into July. It is when I have time, and my gardens end up beautiful until frost. We can not control this weather, but we do not let it stop us from planting on our own time.

We have awesome sweetcorn, red and yellow seedless watermelons, South Carolina peaches that are delicious, potatoes, greenbeans, onions, blueberries, cherries, lettuce, sweet and hot peppers, tasty Tennessee tomatoes, fresh picked asparagus and rhubarb, mushrooms, muskmelons, and so much more.

The greenhouses are bursting with flowers and vegetable plants. Sweet potato starts. Wave petunias by the flat. Seed geraniums. Hanging baskets and combination planters. The area's best selection of annuals and perennials. Succulents and cactus and more.

We accept cash, cards, and good checks.
