Tower Urban Family Farm An urban farm located in Fresno's Tower District. Produce is grown all natural. Produce is available in local restaurants, and local markets.

The Schmidt brothers have been farming Dudley Avenue since 1979. The hard pan free, rich soil off of Dry Creek Canal produces delicious fruits & vegetables. Tomatoes and lemon cucumbers are the summer specialty, kale and arugula are winter specialties. In 2012, lead by Nolan Schmidt the commercial farming began. With strong support from brothers Jordan & Kiel as well friends of the family. A labor

force of love, feeding the neighborhood. Plants grow well in the valley sun and soil; so did our farm. We grow all natural but are not a certified organic farm. Other projects include: The Urban Orchard and government advocacy to support urban farming and healthy communities.

That moment when you know your truck loves to farm as much as you ! Transmission blew on my truck and I was stressing on how far that would set me back this spring. Took a while for my truck to get fixed the hole time I was stressing on getting the land ready to seed and weather I made the right choice replacing the transmission. All worries were set aside when Old Blue was returned to me running with carrots sprouting!

T.U.F.F wasn't possible with out the blood ,sweat and tears of my brother's but special shot out to Jordan Schmidt on this day ! From my experience He has more grit in the field than any other man I've met!!! He once dropped a large tree on the farm with nothing but a Hammer, Much love and happy birthday!
