Morning coffee surprises on the farm! Our daughter came in gleaming with excitement as every single day multiple times a day she checks the ducks nest to see if the long awaited ducklings have hatched and here we have our first few ! It is an exciting day for us on the homestead as these are our very first home hatched ducklings!

Have a big summer gathering coming up? We roasted about 70 lbs of meats for our family reunion this last weekend and it was a big sucess ! Lamb and pork on the traeger slow smoked all day pulled beautifully and had the best flavor ! Of course we were too busy shooting the breeze to snag a pic of the pulled lamb and pork sandwhiches !

🍔Wanting an easy supper ? Our quick and easy Lamb Smash Burgers were a huge hit for supper tonight . 🥗

* 3lbs Ground Lamb
* 1 large handful old fashioned oats
* 3 farm fresh eggs
* Greek Seasoning to your taste
(Mix by hand to consistency of meatloaf-esque fist sized round balls , drop onto piping hot griddle , smash to desired thinness and fry flipping only once )
* Finish with dabs of soft mozzarella or goats cheese till melted

Pairs well with fresh summer salads or light soups.
