Saturday Dale said we wouldn't sell out of milk and if we did "I'll eat my shorts if we sell out of milk" 🤣🤣 like who even says that these days!!! Well we sold out (not really sold out cause we still had a gallon in the fridge)

Not exactly sold out. When all the kids heard what he said they started drinking glasses and glasses of honey milk, maple syrup milk and chocolate milk!
Mahlon giggled as he drank over a gallon of milk himself and said" he's going to eat shorts tonight"

I didn't forget about Farmer Dales birthday give away! It's just been a very very busy week! We also celebrated our anniversary last week but worked all weekend and week trying to stay up with harvesting and canning all our fresh fruits and veggies that are coming in strong all at once!
We have been canning fresh peach pie filling, peach jam, and peach syrup. The last of the Dill pickles have been canned, all the sweet corn has been picked, and is in the canner now! I should finish process that around 10pm tonight.

We have been gathering tomatoes by the bushels! The kids have been picking and picking with no end in site! Washing and rising the peppers & tomatoes cutting and freezing till we can catch up!
This week I have made 10lbs of butter and still have 4 gallons of cream to churn.

All on top of our normal daily chores and work schedules of our daytime jobs, milking and prepping for a big horse show coming up.

I really wish the kids had one more week of summer break. I am worried how we will keep up with it all starting next week when I don't have their help!

I apologize now for the mess in the market!

Happy Monday!
We have sooo much Milk in the cooler so my herd shares customers please stop in and get some extra milk, if you haven't been here in awhile we would sure love to see you!

Along with lots of milk, we have some new fall Lattes, vanilla yogurt, butter, heavy cream!

Fresh Sourdough bread is on the shelf too!

This week all Of our canned fruits are 50% off get stocked up for school lunches!
