The best part of my days are mornings by the fire. I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything so this will be a bit long. Patrick and I brought a 2.5 acre property of our own. The previous arrangement didn't pan out. It has been seven months now and we have cleared about a quarter of the property. We are building a small shelter from pallets.
But, let me tell you about the beginning. The area we are in gets a lot of rain. Most of our things were in boxes including our clothes. Needless to say the majority of which became moldy and had to be thrown away. All our canned goods need to be tossed. We pretty much lost everything. The area we first cleared got. So muddy we would sink to our ankles in it. Poison ivy got me good. Lastly, it was ramen noodles until we just couldn't anymore. Now it's mostly candy spaghetti and meatballs. I really miss cooking.
Despite all the challenges and hard times it is with it. God has been good to us by surrounding us with good neighbors and His protection. We are truly blessed. I will post pictures later and keep you posted more often. We have no source of electricity so charging our phones will be hit and miss. God bless all of you, please keep praying for us.
