Celebrating Conservation and Public Trust

I had the privilege of attending the Royce Hanson Conservation Park ribbon cutting a beautiful and meaningful addition to Montgomery County’s park system.

Walking the trails and hearing about the park’s 475 acres of forest, meadow, farmland, and ponds reminded me how powerful community vision and stewardship can be.

Named for Dr. Royce Hanson, whose leadership shaped so much of the County’s land preservation legacy, this park is a living reminder of what it means to uphold the public trust protecting open spaces for generations to come.

At this point, sticking to what is organically grown and pesticide free is the best option given the facts in this story below👩‍🌾🌻🥬

A push to restrict agricultural pesticides appears to be stalling, and a draft of a report obtained by ABC News does not signal any intention to eliminate them.
