Ever wonder what "grass-fed" actually looks like on our farm? 🌾
*At Jones Farm Station, the answer is "partially"—and for a very good reason! We focus on a TMR (Total Mixed Ration) diet to ensure our American Wagyu and Holstein cows get the perfect balance of energy and nutrients.
Here is what’s happening in our fields this week:
**Harvesting the Greens: We’ve officially started harvesting triticale, which is a key part of the "grass" portion of our feed.
**Planting the Energy: The grain side of the menu (our corn) started going into the ground this past week.
**Quality Control: Mixing these fresh ingredients helps us raise healthy dairy cows and premium American Wagyu beef.

What’s your favorite thing to do with our ground beef? Is it Taco Tuesday at your house, or are you fired up for the grill?
We’ve been moving a bunch of ground beef lately, and at $6/lb (when you buy 10lbs), who could argue with that? We’re team burger tonight—those 1lb packs break down perfectly into three juicy 1/3lb patties. 😋
