Meet Mike & Velda Plankenhorn — the second generation of family ownership behind this Mom & Pop shop.
Velda grew up learning the business from her parents, V.C. & Hazel Carter, and in 1992, she and her husband Mike bought the business and carried the family tradition forward. For more than 30 years, Mike & Velda poured countless hours, hard work, and heart into serving their community. They expanded the custom processing side of the business and continued growing the retail selection, always keeping their customers and community at the center of what they did.
In 2023, after many years of hard work, Mike & Velda retired and proudly sold the business to their son Josh and his wife Lyndsay, making it a true third-generation family business. ❤️
Today, we’re proud to stand on the foundation they built and continue the tradition of quality, service, and community that started generations ago. This isn’t just a business. It’s a family legacy!
